RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Participants must be 12 years old or over on the day of the event.
2. Any type of bicycle may be used.
3. Participants must wear a safety helmet.
4. Please bring a red rear light as it might still be dark when you start.
5. If you are late for your start, the organisers will try to fit you in at another start time.
6. Once started, you will not be allowed a second start.
7. All riders must ride in a safe manner and observe all rules of the road. The road is still open to public traffic during the event.
8. No technical assistance is allowed during the time trial.
9. No drafting (cycling closely behind another cyclist) is allowed.
10. To be given a finishing time you must cross the finish line with your bicycle.
11. Organisers timings/results are final.

Participants enter this event entirely at their own risk. Pedalphiles Cycling Club and the organisers shall not be held responsible for any undesirable consequence arising from participation in this event.

The U-turn at 7.5km will be sign-posted and marshalled however it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that he/she makes the turn in a safe manner i.e. by first checking for oncoming traffic from behind and in front.
